Mind The Gap, Raise The Flag

Mind the gap, Raise the flag is a work made by Faisal Habibi. The artist made it as a tribute to Jatayu, a market that he often frequents to get materials for his work. This work uses used goods from the market. For the material he specifically chose waste from production or iron and metal scraps in Jatayu. Faisal then adapted the form of banners to be like a festival. This work departs from a material that is considered negative, that is industry waste.

Mind the gap, Raise the flag adalah karya yang dibuat oleh Faisal Habibi, dibuat untuk tribut kepada Jatayu. Karya ini mempergunakan barang-barang bekas dari pasar Jatayu. Untuk materialnya khusus memilih barang bekas atau sisa dari produksi atau potongan-potongan besi yang ada di Jatayu. Faisal kemudian mengadaptasi bentuk umbul-umbul seperti sebuah festival. Karya ini berangkat dari sebuah material yang dianggap negatif, yaitu sisa-sisa hasil produksi.
