Mural Journey of Happiness

This mural was made by one of Bandung’s renowned artist, John Martono. John Martono has made several murals under the theme ‘Journey of Happiness’ in different places, one of which is the flyover of Antapani and Husein Sastranegara Airport. This work was made in 2016 at the request of the government during the development of the Cikapundung BBWS Terrace. It utilizes various materials, creating different textures by treating them with various styles. This style of composition showcases John Martono’s special interest in textile and craft.

Mural ini dibuat oleh salah satu seniman asal Bandung yaitu John Martono. John Martono telah membuat mural seri ‘Journey of Happiness’ beberapa kali di tempat yang berbeda, salah satunya terdapat di flyover Antapani dan Bandara Husein Sastranegara. Karya ini dibuat pada tahun 2016 atas permintaan Pemkot Kota Bandung pada saat pengembangan Teras Cikapundung BBWS.
