Initially the Bandung Photo Park was named Cempaka Park. Bandung Photo Park is one of 30 thematic parks that have been inaugurated as part of the Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil’s program. The inauguration of this park was carried out by Galih Sedayu, one of the founders of the Bandung Photo Park, Kenny Dewi Kaniasari from the Culture and Tourism Office, and seven photo communities and residents who attended the ceremony on December 21, 2013.

This triangle shaped park is located between Anggrek Street and Cempaka Street Bandung. Just like other parks, this park is completed with many seats for visitors to relax, children’s playground, and some Monkey Pod trees. In the middle of the park there is an electric substation and several photographs on display. There is also the big letter “C” as the identity of the park. The letter “C” can be interpreted as Cempaka or Camera.

Awalnya Taman Foto Bandung bernama Taman Cempaka. Taman Foto Bandung merupakan satu dari 30 taman tematik yang sudah diresmikan sebagai wujud dari program Wali Kota Bandung Ridwan Kamil. Peresmian taman ini dilakukan oleh Galih Sedayu, salah satu pencetus Taman Foto Bandung, Kenny Dewi Kaniasari dari Dinas Budaya dan Pariwisata, dan tujuh komunitas foto serta warga yang hadir pada Sabtu, 21 Desember 2013.

Taman berbentuk segitiga ini terletak di antara Jalan Anggrek dan Jalan Taman Cempaka Bandung. Sama seperti taman yang lain, di dalam taman ini terdapat tempat duduk untuk bersantai, permainan anak, dan beberapa pohon Ki Hujan. Di tengah-tengah taman terdapat terdapat gardu listrik dan beberapa hasil karya foto yang terpajang. Di taman ini juga terdapat huruf “C” sebagai identitas taman. Huruf “C” bisa diartikan sebagai Cempaka atau Camera.
