Patung Sepatu

The Shoe Sculpture was an icon sitting at the heart of the Leuwipanjang-Cibaduyut intersection. This location leads directly to the huge complex of Bandung’s renowned shoes industry that has been active since the 1920s. The sculpture was 3 meters tall, taking the shape of a single leather loafer with the ties neatly tied in a ribbon shape. This sculpture was made of concrete.

Patung “Sepatu” terletak di perempatan Leuwipanjang-Cibaduyut yang menjadi akses utama memasuki kawasan industri sepatu ini. Patung setinggi 3 meter ini memperlihatkan satu sepatu (kulit) kerja di bagian atas dan sepatu hak tinggi di bagian bawah. Patung berbahan semen ini menunjukkan kekhasan industri sepatu di Cibaduyut yang memproduksi sepatu dari sekitar tahun 1920-an. Saat ini patung ini dikenal sebagai ikon Cibaduyut.
