Taman Pasupati
Pasupati Park, or also famously known as Jomblo Park is a park located under the Pasupati Overpass. Opened on January 1, 2014, by Mayor Ridwan Kamil, this park’s theme was a dedication to ‘single people’ or ‘jomblo’. The concept was manifested in the park’s cube benches that can only support one person each. The cubes are 70 cm – 100 cm tall, each differing in heights and colors. This park was also intended as a place to showcase artworks. At night, the cubes will light up because of the lamp installed under them. The initiative to build this park was to transform the usually dark and dirty space under an overpass into a friendly public space that the citizens could utilize to support their daily activities.
